Well everything was going well until 2 weeks ago... sort of an update
2 weeks ago I wind up in the hospital for three days for preterm contractions. Now I am on bedrest. I go to the dr. tonight and have a biophysical profile. Baby B is all of a sudden measuring bigger than baby A - by too much. Now I have to go to Stony Brook to get a doppler sono and see what the actual %age baby B is bigger by. They have to make baby B is not growing at the expense of baby A...
I asked what happens if there is too high % of a difference - I have to be monitored more closely and there is a chance they will have to take the babies early, because baby A will not be getting the nutrients he needs.
I'll keep you all updated as to what happens. I have to call tomorrow to make an appointment for this special sono.
Sort of update - Thanks everyone - My doctor's office faxed the request for the sono to SB, so now I am waiting for them to find out when my appointment is. I hate having to wait around, I just want to get this done!
