ALL the time. I was a camp counselor for like 10 years. So my little ones are starting to drive, and have jobs o their own. OLD is an UNDERSTATEMENT. When the little ones find me on fb and tell me what they are up too

UGGG! Aren't those moments THE WORST?!??!?!?!? I am 31, which doesn't seem old until something like that happens.
I'm a music teacher and way back when I first started college, I taught lessons in a music store to make extra cash. Last year, I stopped in the music store to pick up some things I needed for my class and a girl pops out of one of the studios and says, "OMG! RACHEL?!?! You were my FIRST flute teacher when I was like SIX!!!!" Yes, I am old.

Me too! And a 40-year old coworker said she lied and told people she was 30 (she does NOT look 30), and I kept thinking sh!t, you do not look like me! noooooooooooooo!!!!!!

I'm 35 and an 8th grade teacher. I discovered the other day that my current students were born in 1998. 1998!!!!!!!

We are old....
I swear the last time I saw my youth was before my dd was born...once she came i lost about 4 yrs of my youth.
Oh and gained many gray hairs...LOL

Here is my "I am getting old" story.
I was walking down the street when these two young boys stopped me - they were probably in thier late teens or early twenties. The conversation went like this:
boys: excuse me miss
me: yes?
boys: I'm sorry. We just had to tell you, for an older lady, you're really hot.
I was only 32 at the time - I am now 39. I guess I should hold on to that memory and feel flattered.

Ahhh, I can relate to this. I'm probably older than all of you guys, in fact, my 54th birthday is around the corner. My 21 year-old son (youngest) thinks I'm ancient, he always throws the line "Ma, that was is in the 1950's" Gotta love him.....

IT always hits me when the interns come in - they are always the same age (19 or 20) and I keep getting older. When they tell me what year they were born, I think wow - I was in high school. It gets me depressed!

I felt ancient when I was out shopping for my niece for Christmas. I was standing in line at Hollister and was complaining to myself how dark it was, how the music was too loud, how the clothes were skimpy, and how the perfume wreaked!
I've been doing that since I was like 24...I hate that store w/a passion!!!!!!!!
