I promise you this was my exact situation. And I can almost guarentee it won't be the last time. Nobody could explain what the blood was from, they ended up saying the same thing about the placenta. Try to rest, take it easy as often as possible and try not to stress. I know how scary seeing that blood is. If you need anything or have any questions feel free to FM me.

Glad you are okay-just a question-did you ask whether you should have a consult with a high risk due to your history and the bleeding?

I am so glad I called you today to see how you were doing, and even happier that you called back after your appointment to say both you and the baby were fine !

The same thing happened when I had my DD. Seeing that blood is REALLY scary! I wound up having a low lying placenta and I bled once more after that. It eventually moved itself and didn't turn into a previa.
