UPDATE: Sorry i didnt do this sooner. the second appointment we just saw a bean and the 3rd we finally saw a heartbeat!!! heartbeat was at 8wks. this pregnancy has been rough and put me on my ass for the first half but i am very grateful for every crappy day i have. I really hope to see more of you on the pregnancy board soon, keep hope it is the only thing that got me threw the tough times. and im always available for a chat if you need someone to talk to.



Well that appointment sucked they only saw a sac i cant believe this is happening again im so mad and totally beside myself.

There's still time!!!! 6w5d and seeing a sac is OK, don't lose hope just yet! when do you go back? Also, you might have ovulated a little later than you thought, and could be more like 6w.

I would get a second opinion. I agree I wouldn't 100% count yourself out.

ok ladies im tryign to keep it together i have run out of faith at this point. im going back on monday. i had betas done today and i go back on wed. if those come up good ill be a little more hopeful but right now, right now im just heartbroken

Take it one day at a time, seeing a sac at this point, honestly, is a good thing. This is why so many doctors refuse to see patients before 8 weeks. But I completely understand why you went in earlier. It can be totally frustrating, I'm going to guess that you either (a) ovulated later or (b) implanted late, putting you farther behind than you would think you are... Going by my last monthly period, I should have been almost 8 weeks when I went in to my first apt, but I knew I ovulate late regularly (skipped the CBEFM that month), but I still thought I should have been farther ahead. I thought I should have been about 7 weeks, but I was only 6w3d (and barely that).

im off today and tomorrow so that will help. i guess ill just have to wait. i almost passed out while sitting in bed which happened to me once before when pregnant then 4 or 5 days later i tested so maybe your right and that almost passing out was from my horomones from implantation.

take it easy.. as ive said with both my ft pregnancy and my mc, it aint over untl the fat lady sings.. i spotted through my entire pregnancy with ds. breaethe, take it easy, and know we are all praying for you..

ok so i had called for first of 2 day blood work and they said my hcg levels are very high. she told me what they were but i was so relieved when she said that i couldnt keep the number in my brain. i was supposed to go for the 3nd day of blood wed but i had to work so i went thurs morning. and then i had work all day yesterday so ill have to wait til monday to find out what exactly is going on. anyone ever hear of someone having very high numbers and the embro still not developing?
