well the doctor called..i cant catch a break!
i feel like me and this little girl just cant catch a break!!!!
they did a growth scan with a doppler to check the blood flow to the baby because of my elevated blood pressures!
the doc just called me with restults and said the following...
1. shes a huge size and measuring in the 87th precentile which is good considering all the PTL issues...
2.the cord is wrapped around peanuts neck 2 times  so i now have to go in 2 times a week for NST and sono to keep a VERY close eye on her.
3. i will most likely need a c-section based on all this new info re: her size, the cord, and my pressures. im NOT against this at all im all for it i want to make sure that me and the baby stay as healthy and safe as possible! and if a section is going to do that then sign me up. im still "early" at 36 weeks they are going to try and get me to 38 weeks.. which im sure i can do! i have to keep a close eye on her movement
4. i brought up the whole tail bone issue and the doctor said "all the more reason to make you a c section" so i have a feeling this is what they want for me as it is but dont want to make it a def. just yet!
ive been worried this whole pregnancy but this is just the freakin icing on the cake!!! i just want her to get here and get here SAFE and i want myself to stay as healthy as possible! ill be going to the doc on monday and thusday this week! should be a long 2 weeks! but i cant wait to meet my cubba wubba!

Awwww, so sorry you can't just have an uneventful pregnancy. Does anyone have them anymore these days?
I know its discouraging, but the good news is, they will be monitoring you SO SO closely, you don't have far to go - and the little peanut will be OK!
I had a c-section with DD#1 due to severe pre-eclampsia and it was an emergency...I am now having another with DD#2, but its scheduled. I would MUCH rather KNOW what's going on than have an emergency c-section sprung on me.
Anyway, hang in there and try and think of the positive - you will be a mommy VERY soon!

Ugh!! Hang in there Mommy! The worry never ends. And just to help you feel at ease, I delivered in my 36th week so if you even had to go today, you and the baby girl would be totally fine!! Sending your lots of prayers and positive vibes!!

thanks so much ladies!! i know she would be ok now and i totally totally agree with id rather have a scheduled csection then an emergency! i just want to know she will be ok! im not a risk taker and would rather lean on the side of precaution which is what the doctor said shes going to do!

Oh no! I am sorry you did not have good news. I wish she could come out tomorrow  Two weeks will be here before you know it.

Oh megan!!! I'm so sorry you didn't get good news but atleast now you have more of an action plan. I think you will make it to 38 weeks. You seem to been doing pretty good the past week or so. I'm praying your little girl stays safe and things go smoothly!! you know yoi can FM me anytime to vent. I truely feel bad that you keep getting bad news!! Atleast you'll get you c-sections lol

thanks ladies! i just want piece of mind already to know that my baby will be delivered with out being harmed! the idea of having a vaginal deliver with the cord around her neck freaks me out considering i was born with the cord around my neck 4 times, blue and not breathing they didnt think i would make it.. i dont need that extra stress! the idea of getting her out in 3 min or less is so stress relieving i hope they lean on the side of precaution!
