Wells Fargo branch
Does anyone know where I can find a Wells Fargo on Long island?
I tried using their store locator, but it kept coming up that there wasnt any on long island. I could of sworn that there was.
I am buying a 1965 VW Beetle on Ebay. I am the high bidder and the auction ends today. I know im not the winner yet, but this is how the seller told me he wanted to get paid.
He wanted me to make a cash deposit into an account number that he will give me at the wells fargo branch.
I would rather pay by certified check, wouldnt you think that was better? Or he said to make a deposit at my bank with a check into his account.

I would be very careful with depositing into a direct account. I think it's best you go through a paypal, bidpay, etc...but certified check is best - as you stated. You just never know, and there's nothing protecting you in case he doesn't come through on his side.
There are no Wells Fargo branches in NY.

I emailed the seller to tell him I would want to pay by certified check, so we will have to see what he says

Not sure if it is a branch or just an advisement center, but there is one on Hicksville road in Massapequa, in the shopping center next to Waldbaums at the corner of Jerusalem Avenue.
