Went to a really fun birthday party today.
I'm bumping this post because it is a great party idea! The days are limited that they are open, so book early.
It was at the Long Island Steamers in Brookhaven. It was for a two year old little boy. The LI Steamers is basically in the middle of the Southhaven Park. You ride scaled down rail road trains. My whole family had an awesome time (even the adults).
The silver train is an actual steam engine built by own of the members.

Yes, parking was a bit crazy, but the weather was perfect so we didn't mind walking at all.

We have loads of places like that here in the UK, we went to one this weekend! Lots of local parks have mini tracks around them and local steam train enthusiasts run them on the weekends, they cost like .30p a person for a ride (thats like 50 cents) they are great fun and my son LOVES them, as does his best friend Harry Harrington!

They are open to the general public, you don't have to book a party to go. I'm taking DS with our meetup group next month.
