We had the same issue going into the home stretch with Owen, and we finally decided via a bet. Based on his birth weight either I got Owen or Dh got Jackson. We just could NOT agree. We didn't hate each other's names (for the most part), but we didn't love them.
Here is my list of girl names for you:
Lila (someone has to use this because I can't! with my last name)
Audrey (my middle name)
Claire
Anna
Tessa
Peyton
Emerson
Darcy
Jayne
Georgia
None of them go together but I thought I would go for variety

I really liked the name Dahlia but DH didn't like it.
I also like Ivy... again, another DH veto.
Other names I like but I feel are little popular for me Violet, Scarlett and Amelia.
I guess I have a plant theme.

You guys are cracking me up here
I do love lots of the Italian names, but it's just hard for us to pull off...we're like the McWhiteys over here...DH has light brown hair, I'm a blond and DD is blond...even though our last name is Italian, it's only like 10% on DH's side...the rest is German/Austrian/Hungarian...my kids sooooo can't pull off very Italian names.

We chose Chloe for our DD, not knowing it would be the 8th most popular girls' name of 2008. Oh well...
Her middle name is Elizabeth. Also on the top 10 list and decided in the labor room.
Other contenders:
1st name:
Gwendolyn
Veronica
Colette (after my Mom)
Middle name:
Astrid
Aurora
Laura (after my sister and Godmother to Chloe)
Colette (After my Mom--if we had chosen Gwendolyn)
For our next girl (if that happens) I think we're going all Irish (even though DH is Italian/Chilean) and we like Una and Fiona. Colette is still a front runner (not Irish, obviously) and he likes Zoe, but Chloe and Zoe?
Veronica and Colette are also strong possibilities. I just love the name Veronica. It's so strong.
ETA: Laughing at above post. Coincidence...
ETA Again: Vivienne is also a strong contender. DH vetoed so many beautiful names. So, so many. He loved Audrey and I didn't. It's all he brought to the table.
