We're getting cabin fever over here....any suggestions?
Hi girls, so I'm going on my second week of being home for the summer, and Ava and I are developing some serious cabin fever with this weather. I feel like all we do is watch tv or movies, do crafts and go shopping. The first two are getting old real quick and the last is causing me to hemorrhage money. Can anyone suggest something to do with a 3 year old that cost little to no money? Preferably outside the house I feel like I can never think of anything to do.

DH took DD bowling over the weekend- she's 2 1/2.. with bumpers.. she had a really good time. He obviously had to help her roll it down the aisle but she did get a kick out of it- and it isn't expensive.

Lots of energy = bounce house for me...
but there is a nature preserve out east I was looking at for my kid's birthday. Name escapes me...I'll try to think about it...wildlife, birds, etc..
Personally, I'd love to see the water parks give discounts but still open.

I know, I know... Go with me and Gilly this week bowling. We have those free passes from kidbowlfree.com. You know about it, right? If you dont go on their site and sign ava up. SHe gets to bowl free all summer long. We are signed up. Maris, gina, jamie and melissa are as well. We have been unsuccessful setting up a date so far...LOL The sayville bowl accepts them. Havent used them yet so not sure what the catch is but I do have passes in hand.

Thanks, girls. Any other suggestions welcome! I just signed her up for a program at the library for tomorrow, so that'll be good. I really need to fill my calendar this summer or else I'm going to go crazy.

We're going bowling later with the kids bowl free passes. No catch, you just have to rent shoes if you don't already have them.
I can give you the name of a couple of meetup groups if you want to join them. Lots of free playdates at homes, parks and other places. LMK.

I saw that and believe it or not, many of those things we've done this past week I'll go back and read it again, though

Ryan is only a year.
But I just signed him up for Aqua Tot swimming through the town. It's twice a week in the month of July, 1 hour each session for $40!
