We're home from the hospital
It's great to be home! She has basically been sleeping since we got home this afternoon which I'm sure is great for healing. So many distractions and interruptions in the hospital made it difficult for her to get some good rest. She's not really into eating but doc said its normal. I'm just soooo happy she is doing well and the worst is over. Surgery at 6 mos is hard but I really felt for the older kids going through it - they know enough to be scared. Also, I doubt DD will even remember any of it. Yipee for Doctor Palmer and the other Docs and Nurses at Schneider's. Thanks for all your well wishes and prayers. I'm so in love with DH and DD right now

Great news!! She definitely won't remember any of it!! My 3 year old had surgery at 10 months and has no clue.
