We bought in Port Washington. The inside needs tons of work, and hopefully we'll open up the porch in front...I can't wait to get started!!!

I was going to spare you the pics of the inside, but since you asked...you can see we have a lot of work ahead of us. There's wallpaper everywhere, and everything is just old. It's a great space though...so I can't wait to see the transformation.

Is there 2 fireplaces in the house? Nice that the house already has wood floors....
Wow thats a lot of wall paper. You are going to be busy peeling.....Are you going to gut the kitchen?
I like the shelving units that are next to the brick fireplace in the livivng room.....nice touch.

Hi Scott, yeah there are actually 2 fireplaces which I thought was great. I love the bookcases, but I think we're going to get rid of those stained glass windows, or at least replace them. There is a ton of wallpaper to get rid of. The floors are a really nice dark wood finish, so they probably just need to be cleaned up. And yes, we're gutting the kitchen...it's a disaster. We have a lot of work to do, but I think it will look really good when we're done. I'll keep you guys posted.

I would get rid of the stained glass windows too but dont trash them...You could probably sell them to an antique dealer or hold a garage sale. A lot of people love old stained glass windows, or anything else from old houses that cane be re used for renovations....

I think it's the Park section of PW. Off PW Blvd, opposite side of the animal league.

ooo its nice over there, we keep our boat in the marina in port washington by stop and shop. Congrats!!!!! Its beautiful!!!! the inside has a great layout too! and nice size rooms! Have fun with the renovations, besides the hard work it really is great to change and see the end result! Do you know if the sellers are having a garage/moving sale? they have a lot of neat/old stuff. Let me know, thanks.
