I was sleeping on/off & then got a 2nd wind around 11 pm...DH set his cell phone alarm too just in case.

We were asleep by 11:15ish, but then some morons on our block were doing fireworks until like 12:30 and letting their kids stand outside their house (oldest is probably 10, then there were younger kids too!) yelling "HAPPY NEW YEAR" for like 30 minutes...who does that???? Thank goodness they didn't wake DD, I would have marched right over to their house. Whatever happened to celebrating in your OWN house???

We would never have made it, except DS was fussy last night and finally dropped off to sleep around 11 or 11:30. Otherwise, I would have been asleep long before that!

I almost did, but my DH woke me up at 11:50 with champagne. So we put on hats, blew our horns, toasted, and then were sleeping by 12:30. LOL

DH and I stayed up, we drank champagne and watched a movie. Last year, I was preggo and woke up at 11:55 and had to wake DH up too.

Nope. I missed it too. Some fireworks woke me a little after midnight so I called down Happy New Year to DH and went back to sleep.

I jumped off the couch with my girls (cousins and Aunt) had a great time and didn't go to bed until like 3 am...felt like such a rock star.
Bella thanked me for it by waking at 4, 4:30, 5, and 5:30 am because her molars are finally coming in.
I had a good time though.

We got a nice bottle of champagne and a nice dinner all ready to cook - DD was great all day until 645- then she was fussy and didn't want to be put down - so we didn't cook dinner at our normal time. Then DH got a bad headache about 10 mins after we got DD down - and went to take a 10 min cat nap and I joined him...6am the next morning - we woke up to DD chatting away in her crib. So much for New Years eve - we were so tired from all the stuff we have done the past few days we probably wouldn't have made it to ball drop anyway

We were sleeping till my Dd decided that she did not want to sleep in her room and was in ours at 11:56 and the we were awake with DS #1 who was hungry at 3:30 Am....
