Werid movie- The Family Stone with SJP
was that not the worst movie with the most awkward moments ever??? the whole premise of the movie blew! what a waste of 2 hours!

I was totally deceived by the trailers. I went to see it with my mom on her birthday and her sister has cancer. Talk about your happy birthdays.

I also loved the movie, and watched it a couple of times when I rented it.

 oh well, it was getting werid that we were so similar - we needed a little difference here and there 
however the font on your invitations was mine too....

I totally agree. I thought that parts of it were cute, but on the whole, the movie was bizarre.

Me and my mom were too....She really wanted to go see it because she thought it would be a cute family comedy...thankfully IMDB'ed it before we went, my mom has cancer and I think it would have upset us both too much

Yeah! I was all psyched to see it thinking it was this great comedy- and then my friend told me it was pretty sad. I had no clue. I wasn't interested in anything sad- so I skipped it. I'll catch it on cable.

I haven't seen it, but my mom was so upset when she did b/c my grandmother had just died of cancer and my mom thought she was going to a comedy.

I rented it cause I love Rachel McAdams and I thought it was AWFUL. Just didn't have a good plot, was kind of stupid and at the end I said to DH "How did that get ANY good reviews?"

I thought it was a GREAT movie. - It's a black comedy - The trailers were deceiving, but I think it was a "real" movie. - All of the family quirks and uncomfortable moments and laughter though the tears .........

me and my sister went to see it - b/c we thought it would be funny
we were in for a rude awakening- I needed a warning for the ending-
I was crying and my sister said this movies is BS - the Dad doesn't have a GF yet! (since we had just had our first christmas with out our Mom- the timing was really bad)
