West Elm, Pottery Barn or Crate and Barrel?

do you have a favorite?

I realy like PB, but their prices make my stomach boil.

I love Crate and Barrel for dishes and housewares.

I really like the West Elm catalog for ideas..but haven't really purchased anything substantial from their. they seem to be cheaper than PB...but not sure how they stack up quality wise.

I think I like pottery barn the best for home decorating.

We were registered at crate & barrel for our wedding and got some nice stuff, but i've never really bought anything from there on my own.

I also like cb2 (crate & barrel's other website) and have actually bought stuff from this site.

I like PB furniture and yes

I LOVE West Elm. Out of your choices, we've gotten the most from West Elm.

A close second is C&B. Pottery Barn is just eh to me, don't know why.

I love Pottery Barn, I order a lot from them! All my area rugs in my home are Pottery Barn, very good quality.

PB and West Elm are both owned by Williams Sonoma. I have PB stuff and am happy with the quality. A friend furnished her whole apt from West Elm and loves it.

I also have a few things from C&B. I feel that West Elm and CB are a lot more modern than most of the stuff in PB making it hard to compare.

Before we knew better, we bought a ton of PB stuff. We still do on occasion if we find something we like that no one else has.

JCPenney has many similar pieces to PB stuff. I posted about my console table, coffee tables, and side table that I got at JCP for drastically less than PB. You could never tell the difference from looking at them either.

We have C&B wooden plant stands, some kitchen stuff, a coffee maker. Not my first choice but I do like their bedding.

West Elm is way too modern and minimalist for my tastes. I'm contacting them to ask them to take us off the catalog list.

I checked out West Elm the other day because its one of the giftcard options that AMEX offers for your earned points.

It looked like they had nice merchandise.

I like pottery barn's style.
but their prices are completely and utterly ridiculous for the quality (for furniture).
what I normally do is just have my dad copy the design... this is what I did for my daughter's bedroom set (captain's bed with bookcase headboard and dresser).
He owns a custom furniture place....
He made the set in solid maple for her- better than partcile board/mdf in a lot of PB stuff!

I like West Elm and Crate & Barrel for decor. We just bought window panels from West Elm and have bought lots of shelving in the past. We have alot of vases, table linens, placemats, etc. from C&B. Although I love the decor, the furniture is very expensive You can find similar style items at Costco and Target for much less!

Although PB is not really my style, we just bought a desk from there which is really nice. I guess you can't really go wrong with any of them!

I used to like West Elm's catalogs until I visited the West Elm store. The quality wasn't what I was looking for at the time.

We have quite a few WE and CB itmes...it's our style and I think the quality is good for the price.

PB is usually not my style, so I haven't bought anything from there (besdies kids stuff)

I like PB. I have had bad luck with the quality of the furniture from C&B. Also, we have some West Elm stuff, but I've had bad luck with their quality too. No problems whatsoever with PB.

We have all our outdoor furniture from PB and love it....don't like their other stuff, too country-garden like for me....

C& B has much nicer things for our taste (more modern than PB)

West Elm has nice stuff but their quality is "cheap" that is why the cheap prices....

My FAVORITE is Bo Concept that is where we shop...if you come over you will see almost everything from that store...LOL...
