What a day we've had!!!
So today me and Don were supposed to go to Atlantic City, so we get up nice and early and head down there. We get there and I get my period and had to call the doctor. Now originally she said that she wanted to see me 2-3 into my cycle but as it turns out they are closed on Friday and Saturday would be too late, they want me to come in today!! So me and Don jumped back in the car and head home to Queens. We spent a total of 5 minutes in AC. 
On a good note, my RE said everything looked good and gave us the Clomid!!!

Why would they close ? That would make me very upset. They need to be open 7 days a week 365 days of the year. Day 3 is a very important day for bloodwork.

I'm sorry about your trip but glad you got it done!
is this your gyn's office that's closed or your RE? That would worry me being closed, especially since friday isn't even a holiday.

I tried to get her to come in on Friday but she wouldnt budge. This isnt a clinic its a private practice and I wasnt coming in for bloodwork, she wanted to do a sonogram to make sure my body is ok before I start taking the Clomid.

I wouldn't go to a place that closed. What happens when you ovulate and need an IUI done? You lose a month?

OK people, you're all missing the point of this thread.
This is a thread to "congratulate" and "support" us on finally moving ahead with TTC'ing, not to judge our RE. We understand all the issues, and we will make decisions when the time comes. It hasn't become an issue yet, and when it does, we will address it -- no worries.
Please don't make us second-guess posting on this forum.

Sorry that I reacted harshly. Most of us who responded this way have been on the infertility track for longer than most and just know when things seem off. We were just looking out for your best interest. I apologize if I came off as being non-congratulatory. I truly am happy that you are both coming one step closer to parenthood and wish you the best of luck. It's hard to not get jaded when you see so much s*it go down that simply just should not happen.

Secondly...I give the both of you TONS of credit for coming back home from AC..I dont know if I would have been as strong and focused.
