What a night!! *Updated w/ Pic of Christopher w/ David Wright!*
Well, we went to Shea tonight to see the Mets with a ton of guys from my brother's precinct... We took Christopher and one of my brother's friends arranged for him to meet some of the players, go down on the field, have his name put on the screen, etc. I was SO worried about the weather and that it might ruin our plans but it literally HELD OUT until the LAST minute.
Once that game was over -- and the Mets won!! -- the skies opened up. I have pics but I don't have them on the 'pute yet. I will post them soon.
Christopher got to meet David Wright (among a bunch of others) but he was the nicest guy EVER. We were all on the field but he let Christopher go even past that barrier so he could talk to him. He took a batting glove out of his back pocket, signed it and gave it to Christopher! Then, he signed a ball AND he took pics with Christopher! It made Christopher's YEAR -- he was so friendly and polite -- and really attractive LOL.
What a great night - I had to share! I will post pics when I get them up. But
O M F G the weather... scariest ride home in the world!!! (well, back to NJ lol - home is our hotel for now). Seriously, I have never seen rain like this before -- and lightning!! It was SO heavy that I thought about pulling over but I was on the Grand Central or som scary road like that LOL.
I finally got the pic and a chance to update -- there are tons of other pics but I have not gotten them yet. This was the big one - he was SO nice - I was SO happy for Christopher.

how awesome!! when I worked for MLB and David Wright came into our studio for an interview, there was a bunch of kids who found out he was there and they waited by the private elevator- he stopped and talked to all of them! so nice......and HOT! 
I'm glad this gave your nephew something to really enjoy!! he deserves it!
and I was driving in that same rain last night!! I could barely see out of my windshield, very scary!

Ohh what a great night, and I'm so glad to hear how nice Wright is in person! DH was also at the game, and it took hours to get home because the LIE was flooded!

and yes David Wright is not only HOT but he is so nice too, i met him last year and got his autograph too!! i just wanted to jump him!!
