What a soap opera!
For those of you have been following my latest potential home story ...
Basically it comes down to the seller's agent wanting to find someone to buy the house that doesnt have an agent so she gets the full comission.
So, the drama continues and so does the waiting...

A while, but they just signed on with Coldwell Banker. They tried FSBO, and then aother broker, now with Coldwell.

The only reason they might be going along with it is because when they signed on with Coldwell, they dropped the price $130k. Yes, that is correct, $130k. So...I am guessing that they want to try to see if they get an higher offer. But, our offer is pretty darn good, and we are very qualified since we are putting at least 35% down.

Re: What a soap opera!
exactly and it sounds like the house has been on the market for a while, so to hold out for 100% commission is ridiculous. Did they present the offer to the homeowner? Because I cant imagine the homeowner saying no because of their real estate's commission. I'd be so upset if I were the home owner

She's probably not mentioning her greediness and just convincing the sellers to wait and hold out for more $.
They can roll the dice if they want, but we don't have to play. If we have to wait until Monday, we are dropping our offer to the original amount.
