What age did you DC start learning the ABCs?

Tonight, at 14 months old, DD started saying her ABCs! She only knew up to f but still, it was soooo cute! She knows some words, not that many but I think shes about to have a word explosion. So, I was just wondering... is this the age where they start with this? should she have been doing it before now or is she ahead? Thanks!

DS is 19 mos - goes to daycare since 6 weeks old.

He likes to repeat some letters - I only go to G w/ him in the car. Then I play the ABC song/CD. He makes noices - doesn't really KNOW the words.
He does repeat them, and numbers 1-10 sort of.

Also, at school they must sing Wheels on the Bus a lot b/c when that song comes on the CD, all of a sudden you hear TOWN. (all thru the TOWN). He knows the words he knows and only says those.

I think she's right on track! Billy still cant say the ABC's all the way thru without duplicating letters or messing up

she was saying them at 19 months.

21 months, no ABCs, and we sing the song every day while washing hands.

DS still won't sing the song, but he has known all the letters since about 18 months.

i probably should have clarified, she didnt say them on her own, i said each letter and she repeated me. sorry, i made my kid out to be more of a genious then she really is

Ryan is almost 18 months and has been saying them for a while..but he gets the letters mixed up. He is so cute!

umm...my 26 year old can't really say any letters yet....I think your DD is very advanced!
