What age did your DC stop using the swing?
I'm wondering if it is worth it for me to invest in a new one. DD is 3 months old.

by 4 months old my girls could do sit ups in it and they would lean forward and it made me too scared they would fall out(or be hanging out while sill buckled in) or get hurt so we quit using it then.

My DS stopped using the swing at 6 months. My DD is almost 5 months and is in it maybe once a day.

DD is 3 months old and I put her in the swing this morning and she was freaking out bc she couldn't reach the butterflies up top  so she got a bit frustrated, I hope it's a phase bc I was hoping to use it for a few more months

DS #1 was still in it at 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He loved it so much and would climb in himself. It was very funny to see!
DS#2 is rarely in his swing at all.

I retired the swing two weeks ago b/c of thses same reasons. DS will be 5 months on Tuesday!

If you can't get one for cheap, then get a bouncer or the exersaucer. In my opinion its too much too spend on something she will only be using a litte bit for the next couple of months

Kaitee use to do this too At 17 months old she would climb in, turn on the music and the swing, buckle her self in and fall asleep
