what age do children enter pre-k and Kindergarten?
I'm a little confused on the age bracket requirement for each in Long Island. Does anyone know? Thanks in advance!

Pre K is for 3 and 4 year olds. Usually the preschools use the cutoff date that the school district uses. Most of them are December 1 of the school year you are currently in. Kindergarten is for 5 year olds and again, most districts cutoff date is December 1.

Same here for my district. You can find out most info on the school district's website.
