What age is good to start Mommy and Me type groups?
DD is almost 9 months and I'm thinking about trying to find a Mommy and Me group for us to go to. Do you think she's still too young to benefit from it? What activities do they usually do with this age group? TIA!

Imo, that's the perfect age to start. They are starting to get mobile at that age so they can move around everything. My kids started at 7 and 6 months old. They loved it.

We started Gymboree around that time. DS got more out of it as he got older, but it was still fun for him at that age.

We have a Mommy and Me program at Saf-T-Swim! Babies between the ages of 2 months and 3 years with Mom, Dad or caregiver. In 90 degree heated pools!
An excellent opportunity to enjoy a fun and unique bonding experience with your child. It is also a great chance to meet other parents and children in a fun, upbeat and positive atmosphere
It is a great introduction to our individual lesson program and advances baby's development of muscle strength, coordination and motor skills. Small group classes offered year round

Thanks everyone, I'm going to look for one now! As far as the Safe-T-Swim, we'll definitely be doing that once DD is a bit older but I'm not quite ready to hop into a bathing suit myself right now, haha!
