What age to start dance?
DD saw little ballerinas on tv the other day and keeps saying tippy toes! Lol..I would like to see if there are any good 2 1/2 year old dance or ballerina programs.
I live in Kings Park.
Any recommendations? And what is a good age to start? Is she too young?

Most places don't start them until 3 but the is a place by me (sayville-I know far for u) but they have a program for kids starting at 20months but it is more movies and games just to get them use to a class and instructor. Its half an hour once a week

i started my dd at Marchand in miller place at 2 she didnt like it though

My DD started at 2 1/2. It is a 3 year old program but they allow 2 1/2 year olds to join if they are potty trained. My DD LOVES it.

There are a few place that have 2 year old programs, but it depends on the child. i know people have gone and at 2 their child wan't ready but at 3 they were. i would call around to local places.
I know of one in miller place, patchogue and centerach that have 2 year old creative programs.
