Re: what age to start piano lessons?
I don't have experience with my DC yet, but I believe my mom started my sisters and I with lessons around age 4 using the suzuki method, which started with learning music by ear. HTH!

I recommend 7 years old if you're going with a traditional, non-Suzuki method. It does depend on the kid, though. They have to ready to learn how to read music, which is a pretty abstract language in itself. Good luck!
