I'll be 39 when I deliver my first in September. My Grandmother was 45 when she had my Dad and my other Grandmother was 43 when she had her last. Neither had any complications and so far so good for me.
I always wanted children earlier, but it just wasn't in "the plan".

I think my own mother could deliver a healthy baby and have a great pregnancy herself, but the energy level is what diminishes as you get older. The comparison of having a baby @ 25 vs 35 is huge in regard to energy levels. I was able to do soooo much more with my 1st born vs, with my 3rd born, but I uess that also has to do with having other children as well!!!
