What are my fellow summer mommies doing about winter outerwear?

DD is 8 weeks on monday and I thinking about what type of jacket to get her for the winter. Are you guys getting an actual jacket, one of those one piece snowsuit type thing or using just a bundle me? Also what size are going to get? DD is about to go into 3-6 for anything that is a one piece in about 2 weeks or so. Seperates though she is still in 0-3 months.

DS will be around 8 months when winter hits so I think I can get away with a winter jacket and blanket, although I do have a snow suit for him. Being your DD will be so little a Bundle Me would probably be a good idea.

I just got DD a 2pc snowsuit type which had feeties attached to it and mittens with it..ended up finding a cute one at BJ's...I got 9 months, I hope it fits her by then..she is 13 weeks now

I'll use the bundle me if I can but my first son was out of the infant seat by 5 months and I figure this one will be similar so that will get me to December. After that - I figure just a winter coat of some sorts - won't buy now - still have to judge how he is growing. No snow suit - they are just annoying to put on and off.

We used the bundle me through most of the cold weather b/c she stayed in the infant seat. I also had a snow suit thing for when she was out. And we used a fleece jacket with the bundle me. Just a fleece hoodie kind of zip up thing.
