What are some theme's for a boy's 1st Birthday?
I've recently started thinking about this (yesterday) and am just wondering about possible theme for my DS' 1st bday. I didn't think i'd have a big (50 people to me is big) bday but now I'm sort of thinking I might like to.
I'm really not a creative person in a bday/crafts sort of way so I need to start thinking about this WAY in advance.
It's early October so maybe I could even do something outside, not sure.

For October you could do a harvest theme with pumpkins, scarecrows etc.
I did a red, white & blue theme for a late June  and it looked so nice. I kind of like a seasonal theme for a 1st bday

I did a Rodeo Cowboy Theme. The kids all seemed to love it. I got teh decor from Cellebrate Express and teh favors and cowboy hats from Oriental Trading. I made pulled pork in the crockpot for sandwiches and a few other things

We're thinking a whole "construction" theme. DH is also a contractor so it goes with it... trucks, shovels and pails, etc.

we did a little prince theme, pics in album. I got all decorations from Celebrate Express also.

we are doing a circus theme. I found a website that carries 1st birthday circus stuff. - just google it..
having a popcorn and cotton candy machine and a clown- a non scary clown, she is more like a raggedy ann doll= and actually a lif vendor.

we did superboy theme and decorated with spiderman and batman red,yellow,blue balloons!

we didn't do a theme persay, but I did use all "Baby's First Birthday All Star" decor. So its sorta like a sports theme.
