what are the names YOU LOVE but your DH HATED?
my dh rejected so many of the names i loved last time i was pg and although we LOVE LOVE LOVE our dc's name i'm not sure we will be able to come up with such a great name again that we BOTH love.

The only name we both liked for a boy was the one we picked. There was not one other name that we agreed on but we discussed several. I should be glad we did not have to pick a middle name because we used my last name (we're married but I didn't change my name).
I really liked the name Austin but he did not, and I was not sure I liked how a lot of NYers would say it, and there are NY accents on both sides.
For a girl, there is a name I have always loved and he loved it, too. We did not get very far discussing girl's names but I am sure this is the one we would have used.

My one boy name that I LOVED was Ethan, and DH couldn't stand it.

I loved the name Annabell and DH thinks it sounds like an old lady - I thnk he's crazy!
He loves the name George and I can't stop thinking of the WB cartoon with Abominable Snow Rabbit saying “I will hug him and squeeze him and love him and pet him, and I will call him George.”

We're actually using one of the names that DH supposedly hated from the beginning! I kept asking him "are you sure you don't like this name?" and he would respond that he hated it. One night while I was on the computer I said aloud that I just looooooved this particular name and he overheard me. He said "you know, it is a nice name, let's name her that" and since then he has referred to the baby by that name.

DH loves Logan, too non-traditional for me.
So we settled on Liam. Great compromise!!

Peyton for - I LOVE it, he HATES it. He said he's not naming his girl (if it's even a girl) after a quarterback - Yes, b/c Peyton Manning is the only Peyton to ever walk the face of the earth !!
He likes Andrew for a - I don't .......
There are few we can agree on, thankfully !!
