What are you doing to "prepare"??
I feel like so many people (IRL, not on here) are saying to me, "oh so nice you have the summer off to prepare for the baby" but what exactly am i supposed to be preparing????
Im 23w tomorrow. Ive already registered and my shower isnt til end of Aug. Im going Wed to look (and hopefully order) furniture. We arent doing the nursey til Sept bc we are using it as our office right now so....
am i missing anything??
I think its alittle early to pack my hospital bag right??

I've been getting the same thing. The only things I plan on doing are:
1. setting up the nursery
2. cleaning the house (or having it professionally cleaned right before the baby)
3.Organizing my kitchen cabinets to make room for baby stuff. ie. formula, bottles...etc.
4. organizing closets
Your basic "nesting" stuff.

I plan to have someone come when I am at the hospital to clean or RIGHT before I go in to deliver
I want to come home to a nice, clean house

We've:
1. Moved the office out and made it into the spare room
2. Nursery is now empty & ready to start on. Which means I have to pick paint, buy the wainscoting & buy the closet organizers
3. We cleaned out our closets...Nightmare!
4. We are ordering the furniture on Saturday
5. I have to finish registering
6. I looked into some classes
but that's about it.....i don't know what else I should be doing either.

i cant really plan for much. im not bringing anything into the house until the baby is born, so those are gonna be a hectic couple of days for my family while im in the hospital. but im having my aunt paint a mural of a tree on the wall, so that needs to get done. and i want to add a closet organizer. other than that. just waiting.

I've been doing cute little diy projects to prepare for my shower bc I love party planning and we are going to start painting and preparing the nursery soon, but other then that I'm just taking it easy and relaxing. Enjoying sleeping a little late bc I know that will all change soon!!! After the shower, then its down to business and I'm going to do the nursery and wash and prepare all the baby stuff!
