What are you dressing DC in for bed time now that the weather is getting colder
My girl now sleeps in a long-sleeved onesie, pants, socks and a sleepsack...but I'm not sure if that will be warm enough now that the nights are colder...I just bought some of the long sleeved fleeced sleepers, but I'm afraid she will get too hot in those.. also would I dress her with a short-sleeved onesie underneath or just the sleeper alone...sorry, first time mommy here ...what are you mommy's out there doing? Thanks!

In the winter my DD will be in a fleece blanket sleeper- I picked up a bunch from Target and Children's Place. Tonight both kids are in short sleeved onesies and pants but my house is HOT even with the air on.

Good post
The fall is weird because every night it could be different...DD is 8 weeks old
currently DD sleeps in a long sleeve sleep gown, no socks (in fact she pulls socks off in her sleep like her mom does!), sometimes in those play&sleep onesies with the feet
If its colder, the gown, and then in a sleep sack
We have some fleece sleep sacks ready

Re: What are you dressing DC in for bed time now that the weather is getting colder
We keep DD's bedroom door closed during the day so the cats do not get in there. So her room gets pretty warm. Right now we're putting her in long sleeved t-shirt and pants. We still do put her fan on too b/c it is warm. I just went to Carters and bought 3 pairs of cotton long sleeved pjs and one fleece one piece for those really cold nights.

I have been putting DS in a short sleeve onsie and a long sleeve cotton sleeper with feet. keeps him warm but not too warm. For the winter i have the fleece sleepers for him but I also plan to get the fleece wearable blankets for when it is really cold.

Robbie and No always wear just their boxer briefs/boxers to bed. They can't even tolerate a tee shirt these days. They load up on extra blankets and put the fan on them too!
But when they were babies I always put them in long one piece sleepers since they didn't use blankets.

Right now he is wearing a pajama seperate with short sleeves and long pants. (Shorts if it is very warm at night). I just started putting his sleepsack back on at night, and he sleeping through the night from 6:30 to 6 without a peep now (which wasn't happening a week ago).

right now he's just in a sleep gown or footed sleeper and we swaddle him....when it gets colder I'll switch him over to a fleece footed sleeper or sleep sack.

Re: What are you dressing DC in for bed time now that the weather is getting colder
As a baby the cotton rompers, when it was colder, the fleece onesies. As he got older he hated footsies, so mostly I put him now in thermals, or the thermal pj' s from target. He sometimes just goes to bed in sweatpants and a T-shirt, like us! He also loves his pj pants. I use a warm blanket as well.

Re: What are you dressing DC in for bed time now that the weather is getting colder
Right now, my baby is 4 months old. She is still swaddled so for sleeping she wears cotton PJs (long sleeve) with no onesie underneath. When winter comes and she is no longer swaddled she will wear fleece footie PJs with a onesie underneath and probably a blanket sleepsack (no arms).

Re: What are you dressing DC in for bed time now that the weather is getting colder
Chloe has been wearing the long sleeve cotton PJ's from the childrens place. They zip up and have feet. She wore these in the summer too because it gets cold with the Central AC.
When it gets colder I will start putting her in the fleece ones and layer them with a onesie for some extra layering if necessary.
Good post.. Im curious to see what others are doing... I am always wondering what to do.

This is what my DD Reilly wears as well- s/s onesie, cotton footie pjs. If we have the AC on high, I also put her in a sleep sack. We lay a blanket on her too.
In the winter, she will wear a s/s onesie, fleece footie pjs and have a blanket as well.

Re: What are you dressing DC in for bed time now that the weather is getting colder
ds is long sleeve cotton pjs with no socks (he pulls them off and eats them).... he has a blanket in the crib with him but he just pulls that off as well... once the winter comes i will just add an undershirt into the mix, he is a major hotpot like his daddy
