What are You Getting for SOs for Father's Day?
Or if you are a father, what would you like?
I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive gift, around $50 or less.

He got a super-dooper softball bat early. It was A LOT more than $50 but his batting average has improved since getting it.
Too bad it means nothing ... he's in sales, not MLB but he's happy.
Maybe a key chain from Things Remembered with DC's pic in it? or if he has a desk job something for his desk?

For DH's first father's day I took pics of Sarah in an "I heart Daddy" onesie from Old Navy and had one made up for his desk.
Old Navy usually has "World's Greatest Dad" hats and tees for $5, but they sell out quick.
Now we either help the kids make something for us or we take them to Target and let them each pick out something on their own. I think this year Sarah wanted to get me soap that was on an endcap, but DH was able to convince her to pick out a beaded bracelet instead.

This year I am getting DH a leather padfolio (if I can find a nice one) and a few ties...he always said he wanted a tie for Father's Day so that he'll get.

I'm having surgery a few days before Father's Day, so I'm hoping DW will help me get dressed, give me some pain meds, and keep the kids nearby, but yet off of my bandaged shoulder......
I'm not big into gifts, so I'd be thrilled if DW could get DC to hand-write a card for me.

Getting Dh a European facial, massage, pedicure and manicure at Mario Badescu.
Also we'll be doing a dinner cruise with a few of the fathers in our family on the World Yatch.

I *did* get my father an engraved brick at Citi Field.

A digital photo key chain from brookstone filled with pics of DD (Dh travels a lot for business).
A new laptop bag that rolls and includes space for overnight trips.
A weedwacker-'cause I've been threatening him that this is what he is going to get.

Ha! We need a weedwhacker.
He's hard--he has many things, isnt into spas, and I'm not so sure I can get DS to do a handprint yet, maybe.
Thephoto onesie is cute though, or maybe a nice keychain. He doesn't have that.

My dh made me promise that i wouldnt get him anything from dd.
I feel bad not getting him something. I had a really good idea for something but i forgot.. Now i cant think of what to get him. He said hell be mad if i break my promise, but its his first fathers day.. so i think hell get over the madness.

I am taking DD to plaster craze and having *her* paint something for him.
We'll also make him a card. I better get started!!!
My DH is not about the $. To him, it's about the thought and time put into it. So that is what he is going to get.

I agree, I think he will get over it too. His first Father's Day is special, it would be nice to have a little something.

We dont' do gifts for these type of holidays.
I'm letting him sleep in on fathers day like he let me-to 8:30am and his favorite breakfast and of course cards from the kiddies and me.

Thanks - I got the pregnant figurine as a gift from an aunt last Christmas and thought the whole collection was so sweet - but I'm a sap!

I am getting him a bbq grill for our boat. It attaches to the side. I think he loves the boat more than us so it is only appropriate
