What are you getting your IL's for the holidays?
im stumped 
i need ideas for something small cause we're getting them some new furniture with SIL and her FH. but i want them to actually unwrap stuff on Christmas day, kwim. suggestions?

We got them stuff for their apartment up here, only to find out that they are going to rent it out and not stay there any more.

yarn for knitting
slippers? I love getting slippers
gloves/scarves
make up bag
travel case for FIL

travel case for FIL
thats the problem. they're pretty much homebodies. they dont eat out EVER so i cant even get them gift certificates to a restaurant. the only hobby they have is being the self proclaimed neighborhood watch.

I only have a MIL and we got her (keep in mind DH is her only child):
1-Shark Mini-Vac
2-Doggie Shirt
3-Pair of Red Sox Crocs
4-Dog car covers (for the inside)
We usually spend about $100-$125.

They bought an RV, so I got them an RV-related gift. Mind you, I know jack about RVs, but we tried.
I got them - a decorative pillow for the living room of the RV, an atlas of the US, Canada, and Mexico, a picnic basket for 2 (with wine glasses, plates, utensils, napkins, and a cork screw), an RV ornament someone here gave me a link to, and a couple of books - Frommer's Exploring America by RV and Cooking Aboard your RV.
I hope they like it.
We also made them a photo book from our wedding.

You can buy them several months of lotto tickets in advance.  No idea why I thought of that...

I got MIL a huge Estee Lauder gift set. that's the only brand of makeup she wears, so I know she will love it.

Making a calendar on Shutterfly.
Got my MIL a Homedics Nature sound machine. She says she has trouble sleeping. She wanted to borrow one of DSs music boxes one night.
FIL..probably something to do with wine.
They also just got a place in FL. So, maybe a GC to Bed Bath and Beyond so they can pick out things.
