The Luncheon of the Boat Party by Susan Vreeland.
It's really cool...its a fictionalized account of how one of Renoir's most famous paintings came to be.

I love her books!!!! I started to read this one, but got sidetracked with other things.
I'd suggest The Passion of Artemesia, also by Vreeland. It was excellent!

We Were The Mulvaneys - Joyce Carol Oates
One of my faves.
I just finished The Tender Bar. Now Im reading Secrets of the Baby Wisperer the Toddler Years.
It took me over a month to read The Tender Bar It was OK, I just don't have the time to read like I used to

Jasper Fforde's latest, The Fourth Bear. I really like it so far.
His stuff is very clever and creative but sometimes a little too weird.
