What are your 2.5-3 year olds reading these days
I think DD is getting a little bored with her books. Just wondering what other kids her age are reading these days?

Re: What are your 2.5-3 year olds reading these days
Right now- we have a bunch of fall/Halloween books... 5 Little Pumpkins are a big hit.
If you give a mouse a cookie If you bring a mouse to school (and all the others from that collection)
Kiss Goodnight is a favorite.
Nosey Rosey
Any kinda of book where he has to move something or open the flap- he like those
We have so many, alot of time his teacher will let us borrow his favorites from school...
I usually hit best bargain books and let him pick out whatever he wants!

Anything Eric Carle - the illustrations are fanastic and a lot of them have patters and so she can read them herself --- like "Have you seen my cat?" and "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" -- both Eric Carle.
Also she loves books that have things in them that she can count, and letters, colors and shapes also.
She also loves character books --- like Dora, Disney Princesses, Barbie ----
And books that are songs, like "I'm a Little Teapot" "This Little Light of Mine," etc.

Halloween and Fall books.
Froggy's Halloween...any Froggy books, she LOVES Froggy.
If you Give a Pig a Pancake, haven't started the other yet. But she asks for this one every night.
She also loves, loves, loves Knuffle Bunny and Knuffle Bunny Too, I highly suggest these two. She has loved them for quite some time, and so do I! She "reads" the pages with me.
Polar Bear, Polar Bear What Do You Hear?
She also enjoys the Disney character books as well. Little Einsteins, Dora, Mickey, etc.

DD is really hooked on Knuffle Bunny and Knuffle Bunny too. We read them every night. She also has a traditional bedtime story book with the Three Little Pigs and a bunch of other stories that she loves.
