What are your Christmas plans?
Christmas Eve morning, we are going to MIL for a traditional German Christmas brunch. That evening, we are going to my aunt's for a traditional Italian Christmas Eve fish dinner. Christmas day, we are going to my parents' house and my ILs are joining us, as they have done the last 2 years.

Christmas Eve - Headed to DH's grandfather's place at 3 for the traditional Italian Christmas Eve.
Christmas Day - Relax at home with DH until around 2. Then headed to my MIL's to exchange presents & then to DH's grandfather's for dinner (my family is going to be with my brother in Maine)
Then 12/28 I head to Maine to celebrate all over again with my brother, SIL, nephew & parents

12/23 - Christmas at my aunt's with my family
Eve: Go out to dinner with DH, FIL and Grandma in law
Day: Go to DH's aunts house for lots of yummy food

Christmas day - having my IL's and my mom over at our house, opening gifts
Wednesday - Saturday after Christmas - Sister and BIL are visiting from NY

Christmas Eve is a big ol' Italian feast at my parents house......cooking done by my Irish father
Christmas day is with the In-laws. It will only be about 12 of us but they cook like its for 50 people!

Christmas Eve Eve - having FBIL, his gf and our neice over for dinner
Christmas Eve - going to the city to see the tree then back to my house to have dinner with my family and aunt, uncle and cousins
Christmas Day - open presents with family - going to my aunt's house to exchange gifts, then back home for dinner
Day after Christmas - work

it is going to be VERY diff this xmas eve...i have spent it w/dhs family for the past 8 years....but we just cannot do that drive & sleeep over, as they expect us to

Christmas Eve: We are going to my friends mothers house as we have for the past 3 years.
Christmas Day: My S/O has to work until 5pm then we will exchange gifts at home with his sister and nephews, then off to see his kids, then to others sisters in Queens. Should be home to pass out by midnight!!!

12/23: Going to NJ to SIL house to celebrate
xmas with all of DH's family
12/24: Going to parents to celebrate xmas eve
and my mothers 60th Birthday
12/25: Have to work for a couple of hours
in the morning Than heading home and
DH and I will exchange than we'll go to my aunts
house for dinner. After dinner heading to my friends
house to exchange with her.
12/26: Hoping to take off from work

Christmas Eve - into Brooklyn to my Grandma's for the traditional Italian Christmas Eve dinner
Christmas Day - To my IL's with just me, DH, MIL, FIL, and SIL.
I wish we were going to be with more people on Christmas Day, b/c that's what we have always done, but there was some drama with DH's family a few days ago and we will just be spending it with the immediate family.
To me, that's just another "Sunday dinner" with the IL's. Aside from the tree and presents, I am willing to bet that it doesn't even feel like Christmas.
