what are your father's day plans
last year i had a whole day planned out for LO/DH-we had so much fun!
this year im thinking a picnic dinner on the beach-late afternoon and maybe during the day a trip to the aquarium or something of that nature!
what are your plans for DH?
we will see his dad on sat.

DH's aunt has a cookout every year that we go to. well these days it is cold cuts and gross sides, but it is good to get the whole family together.

DH is working.  So he won't get out until about 5pm. During the day I will probably hang with my DD and then later head to my parent's house for a bbq.

Its my DH's first Father's Day so DS and I are taking him to the beach for breakfast and then we are going to IL's for dinner.

DH is working. So he won't get out until about 5pm. During the day I will probably hang with my DD and then later head to my parent's house for a bbq.
Mine is too, he'll get out at 7pm (hopefully). I'll spend the day with DD and perhaps run errands around where DH works to see if we can catch him for a quick minute if he gets a break or meal. Otherwise he could potentially not see her the entire day (he leaves before she wakes up and if he gets stuck at work, could be home after she goes to bed).
The closer the day is getting, the more bummed I am since it's his first father's day. My parents will be OOT for the weekend.

It's actually DS's 1st birthday, so we are having a big party tomorrow and then just our families over for a BBQ on Sunday.

We are having a family day tomorrow, going to the Bronx Zoo. Sunday we are going to my inlaws. There is tons of family, tons of food, swimming- it is so much fun!

That's where we're heading. Went last year so it might become our "thing". My dad is away so only have DH to celebrate with.

We are having DD"s christening tomorrow so that has pretty much overshadowed father's day! We are going out for brunch though with DH, mom and dad, bro and his wife, and my SIL's parents. After brunch we'll go see DH's parents.
Honestly-- I feel kinda bad not planning something better since its DH;s first fathers day BUT, I have been busy with the Christening and my return to work last week.. oh and he did NOTHINg for mother's day for me so I really dont feel THAT bad =)
