We use Aveeno body wash and Selsun Blue for shampoo (he has cradle cap) . He smells like a an old man

Don't mean to hijack, but, does Selsun blue work good on cradle cap? Is it safe? Can you believe DS is a year and still has some "flakes" of it
I use Aveeno Baby. I think I'll be switching to California Baby due to the post the other day about an ingredient that's in Aveeno Baby.

Still using J&J for now. I think I will try California baby but I am picky about smells and need something that will get rid of the formula smell. I swear it comes out his pores.

thank you I just switched to organic shampoo and conditioner bc it is safer and i am looking into all of them.. i have the shampoo and wash from nurture my body.com now..
it smells nice it also comes fragrence free i believe

Yeah, it does work well. My ped told us to use it once a week. I just am really careful not to get it in his eyes, but he has very little hair anyway.

Am I the only person on earth who does not like the Burts Bees products? I have not tried the baby items but I hate the items that I have tried, yet everyone, even my sister who is so picky, raves about it!!!!!

They used to be, until Clorox bought them out...
They reformulated the whole product line and then I stopped using Burt's Bees. I was so PO'ed about Clorox buying them out.

I'm using Baby Magic Calming Milk Bath for now.
Today was the first time that I used it, but I didn't wash her body yet cuz she still has her umbilical stub. I washed her hair with it.

So far but Clorox recetly bought them.
They are non-commital when asked if they will change the formula or add chemicals, etc.
As Clorox is one of the leading chemical producers in this country, I'm tending to believe they will NOT stay true to the purity of the Burt's Bees formula. After my current stockpile of Burt's Bees is gone I'll be switching to California Baby.

When my daughter was first born the pediatrician told me not to use any baby soaps or shampoos like J&J. They are extremely drying. He suggested Dove white for soap. So that's what we use on their bodies.
As far as shampoo, for now we use Burt's Bees. I always read the label, and in some cases I carry a copy of the current label in my wallet to compare to, so if they do make any changes I'll switch then.
My son has extremely sensitive skin and had a reaction to California Baby, and my daughter who has never had a reaction to anything would sneeze non-stop in the tub when we used it. Not sure yet what we'll switch too.

my sil peds told her to use head/shoulders on her son, for his cradle cap. I just put baby oil on my dd head and combed it out, i had to do a few times, but now its all gone.
eta: i just switched to california baby (the ultra sensitive bath/shampoo wash has no scent), i had emailed j&j about aveeno products and the wrote back, i had posted the emailed, (they do have the chemical in their aveeno bath/shampoo wash thats not good for babies )
