They've been fine. And having our checking, savings, and mortgage with them allowed us to have their "advantage" account, which means a separate 800 # for account questions.

GMAC Mortgage. I found them through my teacher's union. Some of the fees were waived and the woman we dealt with did a great job. Let me know if you want her info.

ours was sold to GMAC...it is almost imposiible to get someone on the phone there that speaks clear english. It pisses me off. When I have a question about my mortgage its too important to deal w/a language barrier!

1st Mortgage through Wells Fargo--they are okay, never had any problems
2nd mortgate--Home Equity-- Washington Mutual--DH works for them so if I have any problems I just complain to the manager aka DH 
(our 2nd mortgage was originally through Chase, but Wamu lets us fix the rate on all or part of the home equity so we transferred it over there since the variable rate kept going up at Chase)

National City Mortgage - but I wouldn't recommend them. Most of my friends have Capitol City Mortgage & like them.

American Home Mortgage. The company was started by several former WA MU employees. Eric Blum is our loan officer and he is excellent! So easy to reach and he is very patient when we asked the same question 5 times or needed additional clarification with something.
