Re: what books for SSTN?
contended house of twins is great!! however one of the perks of being in a nicu is that they come home on a schedule so we were lucky that way. We woke and fed (as per their dr) every 3 hours for so long. eventually we let them wake us up at night, but went to the 3 hour schedule during the day. As for sleeping... that just worked its way out for us. thankfully! And as a rule we ALWAYS woke the other baby. if one wanted to eat, The other had to eat!!

Yes this does help... I've thought ab if they have to spend time at the NICU, then we might be in a similar situation. Can you remind me, when were your LO's born?-what week? And how long were they in the NICU? I tend to agree in that if one wakes up, the other one is getting woken up too lol
thanks!!

Another set of NICU graduates here who came home on a 3 hour schedule around the clock.
They were born at 31w6d and spent 3 weeks in the NICU.
Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Twins is great but it is pro-CIO (various methods are discussed including going in to soothe them at intervals and also going cold turkey).
