I rave to everyone about my thermometer... it's a complete family thermometer with an underarm, oral, and rectal usage! And it's different probes for each use.

Right now I have four rectal thermometers. 2 different Vicks, one BD and one Timex. THere appears to be no rhyme nor reason to there temperature readings. My dd has had a fever for ten days and it has been lowgrade for 5 days so it is important to be accurate. I took her temperature 5 times last night and got four different temps within a half hour. The brand new Vicks (for 19.99) one was the the one that was the most off from the others. And when I used it again 10 minutes later it went up a whole degree. I am fed up. If my dd temp wasn't borderline and we weren't considering a chest xray, I would not care so much, but this is ridiculous.
