What can I expect at first RE visit?
So, as our test results come back it seems that my husband has some issues with abnormal morphology and low volume. the urologist is recommending IUI. Anyway, I made an appointment with Dr. Rosenfeld at the Center for Human Reproduction at NSLIJ. We've already had a lot of the preliminary tests done (CD3 bloodwork, hysteropingogram, sonogram of my uterus, 2 semen analyses and my husband is getting a sono next week to make sure there are no blockages). Can anyone tell me if they will make us do further testing or if they will just move right into IUI or IVF? I am anxious to get the process started. I feel like I will have so many questions for all of you as I start this process. I am just so glad that I trusted my gut and didn't TTC for an entire year before doing this because it seems like the process can take a long time!

You have FM! Since you have already identified an issue and have most of the testing done I think that they should move to IUI pretty quickly. THat's what my RE is doing. Good luck!!!!

I also didn't wait a year, I went to NSUH/Rosenfeld at the 9 month mark, this month was my first IUI w injectables, I go back 8/27 for bloodwork to see if I am prego. You'll be very happy w/ Rosenfeld, he is very conservative, though, his saying is "slow and steady wins the race". Good luck!!
