What can I make with 4 lbs of tomatoes aside from sauce?
I made and froze a ton of marinara sauce using my last batch of tomatoes. I'm picking up 4 lbs worth of tomatoes today from my CSA share. What can I do with it aside from making more pasta sauce?

Salsa
Tomato tart with onion and fresh mozzarella
Pizza with sliced tomatoes (instead of sauce), pesto & mozzarella
Homemade ketchup
Whole Tomatoes stuffed with either a meat or bread stuffing & baked
Tomato soup
Chili

What can I make with 4 lbs of tomatoes aside from sauce?
dry them - sundried tomatoes. I think you can do it in an oven too
Or trade with cateyemm for peaches!

tomato chipotle soup
gazpacho
tomato & peach salsa- we made it yesterday and I didnt even get a chance to taste it it went so fast. you can put that on quesidillas with cheese and tomatoes.
fresh tomato lasagna- just layer fresh tomatoes, seasonings, fresh mozerella etc...
fresh corn and tomato salad (add red onions cilantro and black beans)
last year i made sauteed tomatoes, eggplant, garlic and whatever else i had in the garden (peppers or celery) every night. it was awesome.

Last week I made stuffed tomatoes with my share. I also just sliced some and ate them with a little salt.

I'm going to start with making fresh salsa for salsa chicken and later some stuffed tomatoes.

If you get tomatoes again this week, you could also try roasted tomato soup. That's what I ended up doing with mine this week.

I know you said no to pasta sauce, but what about vodka sauce?

Vodka sauce is out because I can't cook with alcohol. I do like the idea of roasted tomato soup though!
