What car seat/stroller are you getting? W/ ADDED QUESTION....(at bottom)
Just starting to research these and was wondering what all you ladies are planning on using.
Are there ones that you feel are better than others?

the Graco Quatro Travel System.
That's #1 on my list. Just didn't know if there were any better, safer, ones out there.

Re: What car seat/stroller are you getting?
I have the quattro tour travel system, i love it, but the stroller is on the heavy and bulky side. It's a pain sometimes to navigate through tight areas. The stroller itself weighs 25lbs. But DD cam lays down totally flat, where my peg doesn't.
I also have the Peg Pliko P3, I love it! It's light, folds up really easily and isn't bulky.
I use the graco as my mall rat shopping stroller and when we go to people's house and DD needs to sleep somewhere safe, I use the peg for everything else.
Also my snugride carseat fits into the peg too.
OH ETA: I also have the stroller frame that the snugride fits right into, I love that one too, it's SOOO easy and only weighs like 9lbs. That was a lifesaver when i was recoving from birth and didn't have my muscles back yet from bedrest. I couldn't even lift the graco at all after she was born

I have the Quattro Tour as well and like my Peg Perego Pliko Lite much better. I agree with Sweetness. I wish I would have just gotten the Pliko Lite. My mom uses the Quattro Tour at her house. I did like the Snugride carseat(with the Snap & Go) alot though.

That is the Britax Regent, which is a booster seat. It's for older kids, not sure of the exact weight. You can't put a newborn or infant into that seat.
I got the Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe with the Snugride car seat. When the baby is bigger I'll get a Britax, I think the Marathon is a good one.

Re: What car seat/stroller are you getting?
The 2 most popular top rated infant car seats are the Graco Snugride or Graco SAFE Seat and the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio Infant Car Seat
The most popular Convertible Car seat is the Britax Roundabout and the Britax Marathon (fits babies up to 65 pounds) or the Decathon. They are expensive though
I have the Snugride and my son outgrew it when he was 4 months old. I LOVE the Britax Marathon. I also have the Evenflo Triumph because it got good reviews and it is cheaper but I love the Marathon 100 times more. I know my son can tell the difference!

That video referred to the booster seat when they are much bigger and older. The model is the Britax- it holds bigger kids in much better.

Re: What car seat/stroller are you getting?
Graco Snugride Metropolitan- But not the travel system. I have the click and go and the City Baby Jogger- both are so light and easy to use. My SIL and I navigated her new baby in the baby jogger with the attachment for the infant seat easily through Ikea this past weekend. It is so manuverable and it can be used for working out when the baby is older.

Re: What car seat/stroller are you getting?
I've looked at the bugaboo, bumbleride, peg perego and a few others. I'm not looking at a travel system as we generally walk everywhere and I wanted a lighter stroller. I'd recommend getting the baby bargains book and looking at their ratings systems, as well as trying them out yourself and seeing which one you prefer.
I like the bumbleride flyer - which is around $300. It's not the lightest stroller out there - but it can use any infant car seat, can recline the baby to a flat position, the handles can be adjusted so the baby can face you or face the street - and it folds up in one piece - the bugaboo folds up into two pieces.
The peg perego is also really good - I'm not sure if they can only be used with the peg perego infant carseat - or if its adaptable for gracos as well.
I'm still looking around.

yes, the Peg Perego only take it's own brand car seat.
At this time we are getting the bumbleride flyer in red. It comes with an universal car adapter.
I think I will get the Graco Snugride in Lotus (red).

Re: What car seat/stroller are you getting?
I wanted the Graco Metrolite Travel System and DH wanted the Graco Quattro travel system. I felt the Quattro was too big and bulky. We settled on the Chicco Discovery travel system which we both agreed seemed easier to use and better made, at least for our taste. We finally settled on the Evenflow Titan Delux for later on.
PS Baby Bargains said that the Keyfit infant seat for this was not yet rated by consumer reports, but that Chicco had a good record and a Graco Snugride engineer was hired to design it.

Car seats at Babies R US. The lightest Graco Snug Ride as I'll have two to carry, over 40 lbs...ugh.
Double stroller at BBB because Babies R Us didn't have it on display.
