What car would you recommend getting if have 2 carseats occupying the back seat?
Now that we found out we are expecting our next child, this question came into play.
My 1 year old is still in her carseat, and now I'm expecting again. I also have another child (teenager) and am wondering what to do. We can't all possibly fit in the car, and it wouldn't make sense to take 2 cars wherever we go.
What car do you drive, or would you recommend? I can't imagine driving a mini-van (not that it's a bad thing), but what else can we get?

You'll probably need something with third row of seating. GMC has the Arcadia, we have a buick enclave, that we love. I know a whole bunch of companys now make these "crossover" vehicles.

GMC Acadia. Full 3rd row seating that my parents fit comfortably in. All seats function like a minivan without the look. I know a great dealer  who is married to one of the lovely ladies here. He hooked us up big time.

I agree with some sort of crossover vehicle with a 3rd row seat. Like the GMC Acadia or the Buick Enclave (the two I am deciding between for my next lease).

Hillary I will give you the keys and you can take it out for a spin I am really happy with it but you have to get it from Dan Because well he's just the best!

We have a Quest with third row seating. DS is 2 and when I have #2 he will be 2 1/2 so we will have room for both of them and few others.

Good question. Im wondering too..in the same boat and not only cant afford a $$$ car, but I dont believe in SUV's ( although I do looovvveee them  )..so Im trying to come up with something to get next yr when we can afford it. I was looking into hybrid suv's but they are mad $$$$.

Look at the new Ford. I think it is pretty fuel efficient as well if you do not want an SUV.
Also, make sure that anything with a 3rd row is a true 3rd row. If it has "jump seat" capabilities it is not recommended for a carseat or booster.

if you're not looking for an SUV and especially if you don't want to pay the price for one (cost and gas) i can say that a lot of the full-size sedans work too. The toyota camry is spacious and has a lot of trunk room. I'd say it is comparable to a non-3rd row crossover SUV in the space department.
We have a 3rd row SUV (since we only have 1 child we don't use the third row) and a full size sedan. I can say that we have more cabin space in the SUV. However, if we're talking room in the front and middle seats it is comparable to the sedan.
