what classes are you taking?
I'm wondering what classes everyone has taken, or plans to take?
DH and I were talking - we start our child birth class this week, but we are wondering if we shoudl take any others (breastfeeding, baby care, cpr, etc). Do you think it's worth it? Any opinions are welcome! TIA.

I am taking a childbirth class and a breastfeeding class. My friend's mom is an RN so I may ask her to come over one night, invite the grandparents, and have an informal infant CPR training class at home.

We took a 3rd trimester class (very informative & helpful), I took a breastfeeding class (also very helpful) and my sister taught us Lamaze. I think they were all very helpful, although I don't think I could sit through a super long Lamaze class (she taught us only what we wanted to know).
ETA: We also took Infant & Child CPR and Baby Care Basics.

I want to take BFing and Baby Care basics. I'm going to talk with my OB before taking a birthing class... I'm going to be induced so I don't know if it will help any and I think it was the most expensive class.

We are taking classes in childbirth, breastfeeding and parenting. The classes are once a week for six weeks and are offered through one of the midwives at my doctors practice.

we are taking a 4 week session birthing class, a 2 hour child care and a 2 hour breast feeding class. i think it's definitely worth it.

I am doing the same through my office.
I might take a BF class through the hospital or just attent some LLL meetings

7 week childbirth class. Been awhile since my other two. I would recomend a nursing class. You might even want to take a infant first aid class. The more you know the better.

I may take a bradley class.
DH wants to take infant CPR. I already am certified, but I may take it again as a refresher!

We took the childbirth prep class. We are also taking the basic infant care class. The hospital has breastfeeding classes during your stay and you meet with a lactation consultant daily so I am holding off on that one.

So far we have signed up for:
Childbirth Class (includes hospital tour and orientation at Winthrop)
BFeeding Class (one class at Winthrop)
My MIL will teach us CPR
