What colors go with a golden/yellow

So our kitchen is golden/yellow
what color can we paint the dining room? I was going to go with a blue/gray color as posted previously but someone said they have to match
Im not good at matching.....Any suggestions or thoughts?

My friend has a yellow kitchen and light blue DR/LR and I love the way it looks

I think yellow and blue go together. They don't have to match. You could put some decor in each of the other rooms with the opposite color. So if you kitchen is yellow, put some blue/gray accent pieces in the kitchen and the DR, put some yellow accent pieces. It could just a vase or a picture. You could also look around for pieces that have both colors in it. I hope that helps.

I'm not talking large pieces of furniture like this, but see the colors go together. I hope this helps with vision.
