Unfortunately, I don't have any planned for this summer. I usually go to about 5 or 6 each summer, but I'm so consumed with other stuff, I haven't even looked to see my favorite artists.
BTW, I saw Goo Goo Dolls a few years ago, with Sugar Ray. Great show! You guys will have lots of fun.

Ween at Penn's Landing Memorial Day weekend (great show!)
Phil Lesh & Friends with Trey & Mike from Phish last weekend (ehh)
Medeski, Martin & Wood at Oyster Bay Jazz Festival in August
and maybe Martin Sexton at Stephen Talkhouse Labor day weekend (love seeing him perform)
Definitely not the norm. DH is a big fan of "different" music. He's definitely opened my eyes (and ears) to a bunch of new genres.

I have only been to two concerts in my entire life. The first was a good 7-8 years ago, it was 98 Degress and bunch of other little boy bands. My bro in law won tixs off the radio so me and my sis went. The second was Michael Jackson and the Jacksons in 2001 just days before 9/11 at MSG.

Already went to see Tim McGraw and Faith Hill at the Garden (and Billy Joel at the Garden). Going to Kelly Clarkson tomorrow at Jones Beach and Bon Jovi next week at Giant Stadium.

My DH was at the Phil Lesh & Friends show on Friday. I would have gone but I was at a party for a co-worker that I had plans of going to for months.
Also your DH might be interested in a Festival called Gathering of the Vibes that will be upstate in August. My DH is going. I'll be home with the baby. I can see if I can find out more info for you if you'd like.
Ask your DH if he likes Railroad Earth. If he's into the music you posted he might know of them. We LOVE them!!

Looks like I'm the only one with this, but here it goes: I'm seeing Rick Springfield at the Westbury Music Fair in August. He was my BIGGEST heartthrob in the 80's and he still plays a small role in some of my fantasies! I don't care. I'm not ashamed! Well, maybe a little since he is almost the same age as my mother! But, he has aged pretty nicely!!

I'll ask him about it. He hasn't mentioned anything to me about a music festival in August, unless it's the same weekend as the one in Oyster Bay. I'll ask him about Railroad Earth too.
I sometimes feel like we're so "out there" with our music choices, but then again they are "our choices" and that's what makes them special! (so corney, i know...)
