What day should I start using the CBE Digital OPK if...
my typical cycle length is 29-30 days?
I think the instructions / box said at CD 9, but do you think I should start earlier?

If your cycles are 29-30 days, there is no need to start earlier than CD9. Chances are even if you start as early as CD11 you'll be okay. Do you know how long your LP is (the days between Ovulation and AF?)

I'm not positive how long my LP is. I was tracking my cycles for a couple of months, and based on CM I think I may have ovulated at Day 10-11 one of those months, but the other times I couldn't really tell (or wasn't paying enough attention  )...

I would go with what the box says...
Are you just using the OPKs or the CBEFM? By using the monitor, it tells you exactly when you O.

That's pretty early to Ovulate especially if your cycle is 29-30 days. That would mean a rather long LP. I O late when I do O, but I always get AF at 13 or 14dpo. But my cycles can be close to 40 days even when I was on Clomid. Which would mean my O date was usually around CD26

Thanks. I might be wrong w/ my interpretation... I guess I will find out this month.
Actually, I had a miscarriage on 2/29. We conceived on CD 14, so you are right - I must ovulate later than I thought. I didn't use an OPK that month and didn't think I would get pregnant because I thought I had "missed" my O date.
I am using a digital OPK (the CBE one with the smiley face) for the first time this month and trying again. I am really nervous, but am trying to remain optimistic.

I have the same length cycle as youa dn also use the CBE digital OPKs - the box I have says for a 29 day cycle to start on CD12.
