Re: What did DC have for dinner tonight?
Posted by Lucky
We tried pasta with meatballs but she wouldn't eat it. I have a very picky eater.
Dinner ended up being: 1/2 avocado piece of italian bread with butter container of baby food sweet potatoes container of baby food pears
....and yes my DD is 2-years-old but I often resort to baby food when I see that she isn't planning on chewing anything.
Does she use a spoon?
Cause sometimes I think Noah would eat a LOT more if I let him have babyfood. Not sure if reverting would harm him...but also I will be honest and admit feeding him all his meals again would make me nuts and hes only about 60% used to a fork and spoon right now.

Re: What did DC have for dinner tonight?
DS had little chunks of sweet potatoes, chicken pieces (he didn't like this part too much, so I gave him some turkey/squash babyfood too) & peas

Re: What did DC have for dinner tonight?
Cheese ravioli (no sauce) and 1/2 a meatball. For her that's a good meal. She ate a ton of ravioli.

Re: What did DC have for dinner tonight?
DS had 2 chicken nuggets and a gerbers graduates mac & cheese with carrots and chicken (1/2 the container) and grapes.
With steak I throw it in the food processor on grate - its not puree but it makes it so tiny I have to use a spoon to serve it. But DS loves to chew!

Re: What did DC have for dinner tonight?
Your kids are all good eaters...I made turkey scallopini tonight thinking he would eat it since they look like chicken cutlets and chicken is the only meat he will eat these days...he took a few bites and looked at me like I was crazy. I also made mashed potatoes, veggies w/cheese and cranberry sauce and he wouldn't even taste any of it. We resorted to a grilled cheese

Steak tidbits Pasta a blend of peas and carrots w/chicken stock
all of them I made....
I am so proud to say that I make my DD's meals. = )
steak? Is it pureed? I still havent tried and probably wont for a long time, Im too scared. Not knoocking you..interested.
Nope! Not pureed... I cut the tidbits by fork and knife, and then when I'm going to feed her, I take a few tidbits, and cut them into even smaller pieces with my fingers so that there's not so much of a worry.
I won't ever say that there is NO worry at all b/c even we can choke on water going down the wrong 'pipe'.

Re: What did DC have for dinner tonight?
We had dinner at my mom's too, and there were a lot of people there, so there was a lot of food.
My kids had:
eye round creamed spinach corn sweet potatoes broccoli biscuit
My kids are always good eaters, just like their mom!
