What did you all do with DC on the day of their 1st Birthday?

What did you all do with DC on the day of their 1st Birthday?
I will be off for the summer when DD turns 1 and DH will be off that day. We want to do something special with her and I am trying to come up with some good age appropriate ideas.

go to the beach then out to a cute restaurant or go to Chuck E Cheeses for lunch 
pool and cake
park
take her to the Bronx Zoo
Take her for ice-cream
get together with friends for a playdate/party
family together to celebrate

Ha Ha! I thought you were looking for ideas. I didn't do all that
DH and I took the day off and went to NJ to my family. Played with all the kids in the backyard and then we went to dinner where he had ice-cream. THe next day was his party

We took DD to the ecology center in Holtsville. We walked around and looked at all of the animals and then went over to the playground where she was on the swing for like 45 minutes...then we went over and had Mr. Softee. It was a perfect day!!!!
