Re: What did you do for your bachelorette party?
We did dinner at a tapas restuarant and then went to Flute, a champagne bar, for a tasting. The late-night group of us were planning to then go to a club or something but the night was horribly cold and we decided to just stay at Flute til 1:30 and then all go home -- nobody wanted to go outside again, myself included!

Mine was lame too. We went to the dinner show, Murdered by the Mob. If I hadn't suggested going out afterwards to a bar, I dont think we would've.
I am going to a B-Party this weekend, but can't specifically say what we are going in case the LIW Bride lurks on here.
But I am the MOH for one in June. She loves Sex and the City, so I planned a SATC themed Bparty.
We are going to Dashing Divas to get manis and pedis (where the serve free cosmos), there a pink hummer limo is picking us up. We are going to go to dinner at cafeteria (where the girls always had their gatherings), then we are sighseeing some of the hotspots from SATC. After that, we are going to the midnight showing of LIPS and its X-rated!
FM me if you want any info. I can tell you what we are doing this saturday if you want.
What a fun idea! And SO thoughtful too! I wish my bridal party had an idea like that!
I'm sure she will LOVE IT!
You and me both! I feel like since I was the first of my friends to get married, I got jipped. I know I may sound like a "B" saying it but i just see whats going into everyone else's bachelorette parties that pretty much is the same group of friends, and its like "yeah mine su**ed!" I get ****** thinking about it too
Yup I was also the first of my friends to get married.
In retrospect I should have given them a book about it, I wonder if they have a "bachelorette party planning for dummies"
When it comes time for theirs it will depend on how bitter I am if I decide to retaliate and do something equally as lame, or really party it up and make them feel guilty
I know! What the bride did (for the bparty on saturday) is sent out an email with ideas of what she would want to do, which was a great idea and made it easier.
I am still slightly bitter about it all, but I feel like partying it up with them, and not be bored all over again!

Re: What did you do for your bachelorette party?
Mine was way tame - 3 of my 4 bridesmaids were either pregnant or JUST gave birth!
I went with my (pregnant) MOH for a massage, then with a bunch of girls and the moms and aunts for mani/pedis. My mom actually surprised me with a suite at the Fox Hollow where we had a toast before going out. One of my friends planned a scavenger hunt through my past and then the moms/aunts joined us again for dinner at Honu Kitchen and then those of us able to drink and dance went out in Huntington after.
